• Reviewed bidding documents prepared by others
• Existing office building was intended to be remodeled to be used as a pharmacological and nutritional chemistry laboratory
• Internal laboratories require environmental far beyond typical office buildings
• Our analysis determined that the existing building envelope was substandard even for its original use
• Our recommendations included the removal of all building envelope components for replacement with adequate construction method materials
• Assisted architect in developing details that would meet the high performance requirements of the new building use
